Transformar! (mas não muito) | Refresh! (but not too much)

Não é preciso renovar um móvel na sua totalidade para lhe dar uma nova aparência.
Nesta transformação foi-me pedido apenas para alterar a cor do friso nas portas do armário. Substituí o cor-de-rosa por azul... e logo ficou com um novo look!

There’s no need to change the whole furniture to give it a new appearance.
On this cabinet, I was asked to change the color of the furniture molding. I replaced the pink by blue… and got on with a new look!

Este móvel tem um revestimento de estuque. Nas zonas danificadas retirei o excesso e lixei com lixa fina, para uniformizar a superfície.
Apliquei um novo estuque, usei o produto da imagem (1). Este produto é muito fácil de manusear e tem um cheiro perfumado. Depois de seco (deixar secar bem), pintei com o tom “azul chic” da Luxens (2). Retoquei a tinta dourada nas zonas danificadas (3). No final decidi desenhar uma linha a preto para realçar a almofada do friso. A última imagem mostra a diferença com e sem a linha.

This cabinet has a coat of furniture putty. In damaged areas I sanded with fine sandpaper to even the surface.
I applied a new putty product (1). This product is easy to handle and has a nice fragrance. When dried (let it dry well), I painted with the Luxens “blue chic” (2). I retouched the gold ink on the damaged areas. I decided to draw a black line to enhance the cushion frieze. The image shows the difference with and without the line.
